Salt & Light Fellowship
Salt & Light is an English-speaking young adult group that meets once a month at the rectory for a meal, fellowship, and Bible study. This fellowship group is for young adults (20s-40s) who are in a post-high school/pre-family stage of life. This is a time of life when we are completing post-secondary studies, embarking on careers, establishing relationships and deciding what we can offer the world as followers of Jesus.
By studying the Word together and engaging in rich conversations (often over delicious take-out), the Salt & Light group nurtures Christian fellowship and faith formation, helping us understand how to be salt and light to the world God loves. Since establishing in 2024, we have studied the Beatitudes from Matthew’s gospel, the book of Revelation, and the Fruits of the Spirit.

“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.
You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
Matthew 5: 13-16
