Alpha Parenting Course
The Alpha Parenting Course is returning to St. John’s Willowdale! Join in-person on Sundays at 11:45 (after English service), beginning on September 14th.
Kids can have supervised fun in the Sunday School room, while parents share in a time of discussion in the room next door. Let’s grow together in faith and community, and share the challenges and joys of parenting.
There will be five sessions, just over an hour in length:
Sept 14 - The purpose of the family
Sept 21 - Setting boundaries – part 1
Sept 28 - Setting boundaries – part 2
Oct 5 - Teaching healthy relationships – handling anger
Oct 19 - Passing on beliefs and values
We are seeking volunteers for this ministry.

Garden Tour Saturday, Aug. 16
The St. John’s Garden Group and the Hong Kong Newcomers are hosting a joint event to tour St. John’s pollinator garden, as well as the Toronto Botanical Garden and Edwards Gardens. Contact information and details in the poster!
Food Bank Ministry
Looking for a hands-on way to help? Come lend a hand at the 415 Food Hub. We help sort and shelve food donations on select Tuesdays from 5:00–8:00 PM. Two upcoming dates:
