We are delighted that you are interested in making St. John's a part of your wedding celebration! We want to do everything possible to make sure that your wedding is a wonderful and memorable occasion. Even more importantly, as you begin your new life with your spouse, we want to do all we can to help you build the strongest possible marriage. We hope this will be a time in which you come to know God’s love in Jesus Christ – whether it is for the first time or for an even deeper relationship with Him.

With all this in mind, we have developed the following Wedding Guidelines to help you decide whether St. John's is the church for you as you plan your wedding.

Welcome to St. John's Confirmation program! Confirmation is an exciting step in our faith journey as Christians. It’s a process of asking questions, delving deeper into scripture and worship, and growing into a stronger relationship with God and our church. It’s a time to consider what has come before, and what possibilities are ahead.

Confirmation is a sacrament, taking on the Baptismal Covenant as your own promise to God, and being welcomed as an adult member of the faith community. Our program is aimed at students primarily in grades 8 and 9, though every year we welcome a wide range of ages. Students will be given the opportunity to develop a strong sense of friendship with their classmates, and a deep sense of community with the parish, and the wider church community.

Classes are interactive and involve lots of discussions. If you are interested in attending confirmation class, please contact our Associate Priest, Fr. Jordan Wellington.

We are so pleased you are seeking Holy Baptism for yourself or your child! We are committed to helping you prepare for Holy Baptism so that it is a meaningful experience and the beginning of a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ.

We seek to offer you the comfort of the Christian faith during the difficult period following the death of a loved one. To arrange for a funeral, please call the office directly at 416-461-0692.

One of our clergy will be happy to meet with you to provide grief support and begin the preparation for a funeral service. They will help you choose between a traditional or a contemporary Anglican funeral service. You will be able to personalize it with readings, music, and a time of thanksgiving. There is ample space at St. John's for a catered reception after the service.

Following the funeral our pastoral staff are available to provide personal support as you grieve.

Our annual "All Souls Service" in the Fall is a reflective service focusing on the hope which we have as a result of Jesus Christ’s resurrection from the dead.

Our clergy are also available to pre-plan a funeral which can be done well in advance or in the final weeks of life. It allows you to communicate clearly with your family and loved ones about your preferences in music, readings, participation in the service, reception and designated gifts. To have such a conversation please contact Fr. Simon Li at or Fr. Jordan Wellington.
